How to request deletion

Complete the privacy request form using the email address connected to your Prayer Community account. This helps us verify that the request comes from the account owner.

What to include

• Your full name.
• The email address used for the account.
• A clear statement that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.
• Do not send your password or sensitive prayer details by email.

Verification

We may ask for reasonable additional information to confirm identity and protect accounts from unauthorized deletion. If the request is sent from a different email address, additional verification will normally be necessary.

What will be deleted

Once approved, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize the account profile and personal prayer content associated with it, including prayer requests, updates, testimonies, and interactions, subject to the exceptions below. Database relationships may cause related records to be removed together.

Information we may retain

Limited information may be retained when required by law, necessary to protect people or the service, needed to resolve disputes or legal claims, or contained temporarily in secure backups. Where possible, information retained for statistical or community continuity purposes will be anonymized so it no longer identifies the user.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified requests within one month. Complex requests or legal requirements may require additional time, in which case we will explain the delay where required.

Consequences

Deletion is permanent. After completion, you will lose access to the account and deleted prayer history cannot be restored. You may create a new account later unless access was restricted for safety or policy reasons.
